HiveU is a college-campus marketplace for real-world local services. Students can request help, and approved student helpers can earn by completing jobs through the HiveU app.

Simple from request to done.

HiveU keeps the experience focused on real-world services between students, with the request, communication, and payment flow organized in one place.

1

Request help

Choose the type of service you need, review available helpers, and send a request with the job details.

2

Coordinate in HiveU

The helper can review the request, accept it, and coordinate the service through the app.

3

Complete the job

After the service is completed, the app confirms completion and the helper's payment can be released according to HiveU's payment process.

Real help for real campus needs.

Services are provided by independent student helpers through the HiveU marketplace.

A marketplace designed around trust.

HiveU gives students one place to view helpers, manage requests, communicate, and get support when something goes wrong.

Helper onboarding

Helpers complete platform onboarding before receiving payouts, including the information required by our payment provider.

In-app records

Requests, booking status, and payment status are kept in the platform so both sides can see the current state of a job.

Support available

If there is a problem with a booking or payment, users can contact HiveU support for help.

Payments built for real-world services.

Card processing and helper payout onboarding are powered by Stripe. HiveU organizes the booking and payment flow between the buyer and helper.

For buyers

Buyers pay for booked services through HiveU. The price and any applicable platform fee are shown before payment.

Payments on HiveU are for real-world services, not digital goods or digital content.

For helpers

Approved helpers connect with Stripe to receive payouts. HiveU releases the helper's payment after service completion in accordance with the platform's payment procedures.

Stripe may request identity, bank, tax, or other information required to enable payouts.

Clear support and cancellation expectations.

Because HiveU services happen in the real world, issues are handled based on the status of the booking and whether the service was performed.

Cancellations & refunds

If a booking needs to be cancelled or there is a payment issue, contact HiveU support. Refund eligibility depends on the booking status, whether work was performed, and the circumstances of the request.
